Resurrection of Insanity !!!!!

Wow!!  It has been a whole month since my last  great soliloquy of East Texas musings.  I told yall I am horrible at this whole bloggin thang lol  But the good part is that I have a lot of info to share to my loyal and probably exasperated followers :):):):)

First order of bizness, Youth Camp.  My goodness!!!!! Wow! Although only my second one, for me it was better than last year.  Bro J. Dudley did a fantastic job of preaching.  He walked in the Holy Ghost every single night.  And Bro Rodgers was excellent in sharing the burden of this years theme.  Laborers Together.  Such a thought provoking and soul searching theme.  All of our Rec activities were geared towards teamwork.  Human Bridges, Toothpick Towers, Basketball, and Baseball.  All teaching the value of teamwork and how that no one person can truly succeed alone.  We need each other to strengthen ourselves.... As always there is a great emphasis on outreach and evangelism.  It ties into the theme, in that not only for teamwork and support, but ultimately for The Great Commission.  We are Laborers Together in the harvest fields of lost souls.  I love the emphasis on soul winning and outreach.  It is something that in these last days we need to strive to make it our way of life as Apostolics.  Youth Camp does a great job of strengthening this within our hearts.... Thank you to the awesome people of Tulsa Lighthouse Church for putting this meeting together and allowing me and my Youth Group to be a part of it all.  I was impacted by this Youth Camp in such a special way.  I needed its strengthening more than anything and in a very important way.  It came at the absolute best time.  Being together with my old friends and strengthening those ties even more.... To know you have friends that are there for you and will always be there for you... That is a feeling indescribable.

Next....(drum-roll)..... My lovely Princess Brittany came to see me, and my family too I guess.  Oh, I guess it was few weeks ago.  And what a time we had!!!!!!!! Now unfortunately, for my Princess and I anyways, I had to work my normal off-days. Sooooooo, we really didnt have much time together during the day, but we went to church together those days.  Because at the same time, we were in revival with the Zach Brown family, and Mr. Brantley :) So, I got to go to church two nights in a row with my girl.  Now, that to me is a cool thing.  Because I admire her love for Truth, God, and His Kingdom.  She is a true Apostolic lady, and she loves church.  So, I was honored to be able to take my girl to church.  And, strangely enough, she loves my small-town Atlanta church. And, she loves Atlanta.... Soooooooo, Id say that is good news for me :)  As for me, I just want her to be happy.  Gods Will for my life and my future and His Will for us is Number One.  Period. No Questions. Always.  But after that, I want her to be happy.  I truly do.  I will always strive for that. She knows that too, by the way :):)  BUT, we still had a wonderful time together, as we  always do.  Two young people in the throes of a happy and Godly relationship together, what else is there but good times??????

Then, Summer Heritage.... which I missed because I gladly chose Youth Camp over Heritage. Although, I do miss Heritage.  Seeing old friends and making new ones.  Alas, one can only do what one can.

Ditto, for ADMIT as well.  Again work kept me from it this year.  Super bummed out, but there is always the years ahead....

Lastly, was this past weekend.  Much to the puzzlement, chagrin, astonishment, and outright admiration of Bro Doug Howard, I eluded his contingent of Border Patrolmen with my world-stopping and mind-dazzling Ninja skills and made it to Tulsa.  Once there I made my way to the home of my gorgeous Lady, Brittany Lyn. This little lady had a spread laid out for me.. Sweet N Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, and Stir Fry Veggies.  AND, a sinfully delicious Oreo Cheesecake.....Wow! She is an amazing young lady and an AWESOME cook.  Seriously folks, Brittany can tear it up in the kitchen.  So, Wednesday we left to go to Pops.  As previously posted by Miss Brittany on her blog, it is a gas station/restaurant/coke bottle extravaganza. Really good food and every flavor you could want.  FYI, if you look at the front..... You see the shelves of bottles.... I counted the bottles. Because Im OCD like that, dont judge. There are a little over 4500 bottles total.  4,513 if I remember exactly.  Thats a lot of bottles.. and that is just the front. There are more at the back.  Enyhoo,  I had a wonderful time with my Princess and her folks.  We went to a barn next.  Its old...and big...aaaaand round.  Something to do with Route 66 I believe.  Not sure.

Then, it was church time.  Eld. Howard preached a stirring and soul-searching message of outreach and revival.  "The Final Harvest"  Wow!  Phenomenal job.  And then it was Thursday..........  We went to visit The Daniel Copeland Family.  Unfortunately, Mr Dan Cope wasn't available so Miss Brittany and I had to do our best to make a dent in the delicious Chicken Spaghetti, Corn, and Homemade Rolls that Mrs. Tasha Copeland had so kindly prepared for us. Oh, and the homemade Chocolate Cake.  I left quite full, needless to say.  And then, because all good times come to an end, I had to say my goodbyes to Little Miss Noelle, Tasha, and my pretty Lady Brittany.  Saying goodbye is always hard, but this time.... It was really hard. I kinda, sorta, a whole lot, didn't want to leave.  Being away from my girl is very hard.  But, the distance teaches one important things.  It teaches the value and importance of quality time together.  It makes you value and cherish every moment that you have together.  Even the little moments that dont seem to make a difference.  But it is the small moments and little things that make the biggest memories.  And yes, if you ever wanted to know if it is really true, absence most definitely makes the heart grow fonder.  Exponentially so.   I am so thankful to God for bringing this wonderful young lady into my life.  God has given me a blessing I could never repay. I just hope I can be as sweet to her as she is to me......

And that wraps up the updates for this segment.  Nothing else has happened yet, and  I refuse to acknowledge College starting back up. But, it is inevitable I suppose.  Thanks, to the Copeland Family for being so kind as to allow me to stay with them.  Thanks, to Eld. Howard for allowing me to continue my dating excursions to Oklahoma. Thats all folks so tune in for the next installment later...... Stay Calm and Watch Out for Storm Troopers and Wampas.
