The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope it aint Christmas, so yall kin all jest calm down.  All my money (after tithe and offerings) goes to my sweetheart and Rotert/Lee Campaign Funds.  Not random Christmas presents in June.... ITS TIME FOR YOUTH CAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes, it is indeed..... I can hardly wait for tomorrow to get here.  Cause, thats when we leave for Henrietta, OK.  More specifically Tiger Mountain Retreat.  I was actually disappointed that I didnt see any tigers last year.  I mean, why name it after tigers if there aint any tigers???  Hmmm.... I'll just have to make some phone calls.  I want tigers. Like a whole flock of tigers.  Bengal and Siberian.  Big ol honking suckers that could shred the skin of you in a New York minute.  This is possible....Why hasn't it been  done??? Bro Austin Rodgers, I am requesting a flock of tigers this year at Camp. But I digress......

Camp is a wonderful experience, all tiger jokes aside.  It was one of the most impactful weeks of my life.  The atmosphere of the entire Camp is one of unity.  Everyone there is on the same page and there for the same reason.  To get away from it all and have awesome church.  And awesome doesn't even do it justice, people.  All from Tulsa can agree with me when I say that it is an experience that you have to be there to really understand and fully grasp.  The services are personal.  The moving of God feels like it is just for you.  It is so deep and refreshing..... And I still cant do it justice.  Absolutely not......It is just amazing. A wonderful experience that any Apostolic young person should get the privilege to enjoy.  It will change your life.

For me, another great aspect of Youth Camp is the fact that the Friday of Camp will always mark the anniversary of Miss Brittany Lyn and I officially becoming a dating couple.  It was there in a meeting with Eld. Howard, my Pastor, and her parents that Miss Brittany and I received permission to start a 3mnth trial period in which we could communicate back and forth.  Then after those three months were up, after talking with my Pastor, Eld. Howard, and her parents, I again recieved permission.  This time it was permission to be able to travel to Tulsa to see her and take her out.  And oh the joy that has ensued.  It has been the most wonderful year ever.  Many many memories have been made that will last a lifetime.  I cherish every one and will always hold them dear.  Now, I have since learned of the hostilities that exist between certain Oklahoma elements and this humble and meek Texan.  A particular gentleman, and I wont say Bro Doug Howard's name because I dont want to name folks here, but this particular gentleman has even used the threat of deportation by the Border Patrol to try and deter my harmless romantic activities.  Now I didnt take that too seriously.  It is funny that one Oklahoma Border Patrol unit would even THINK that they could stop ONE Texan. Laughable.  I mean seriously????? It took 1,800 Mexicans to subdue almost 200 Texans.  Come on now.... How many Oklahomans would it take for just ONE Texan????? Too many let me tell ya.

He has repeatedly said that he is watching me.... And I believe him.  He has connections to powerful people in the Tulsa Church.  BUT, Im not worried.  Im a Texan.  We were born in adversity.  We are used to fighting for the priceless and the valuable.  For that one cherished thing we hold so dear.

All in all however, he is a fine and upstanding gentleman.  One of (if not THE) nicest men you will meet.  Has a wonderful sense of humor; he is from Oklahoma so he has to have one.  I have enjoyed the privilege of making his acquaintance. Just a great man and an inspiration. If he can ever just get used to the idea of a Texan being respectable :):):)  Its all in good fun... I had to give Bro. Doug Howard a shout-out here on my blog.

Wow!!! This has been one random post lol Good Honk! Oh..... One last news item on the docket.  I could not forget this one. Nossireebob!!!

I want to wish the most wonderful young lady in all the world a Happy Birthday!!!  Happy 21st Birthday to my amazing girl, Miss Brittany Lyn.... may God bless you with many more birthdays in the years to come.. I wish my Girl all the best on this day.

Alrighty then! That is gonna wrap things up here for the time being.  Just a little bit of weird randomness from Travis' head today. Hope you at least crack a little bit of a smile with this posting.  I hope so...Adios Amigos!!!

The Vice Presidental Candidacy Platform/Introductory Speech

My Fellow Amer'kins,

Troublesome times are indeed here. Mens hearts are filling with fear, and the freedoms we all hold dear are now at stake. Through the abuse of power by certain Democratic persons as yet unnamed, America is quickly an dangerously becoming a Socialist Republic.  The Republicans have been uncharacteristically unwilling to make a big deal about our current Regime implementing its own total government control agenda against the will of the People.  Im not calling for a Communist "People's Nation" ........Im calling for the old

United States of America.  The very one President Abraham Licncoln famously talked about as  "that government of the people, by the people, for the people, that shall not perish from the earth." The very same government that defeated, at the time, the most powerful army and the most dangerous navy orf the British Empire, all for the right to be free and independent.  The same Nation whose Founding Fathers penned the words, " We the People," fought and died and gave of their lives....How can we as Americans turn our backs on the Principles we fought so long and hard for during the American Revolution, War of 1812 (the War in which Francis Scott Key from the captivity of a British warship penned the Immortal words to our Anthem), the Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korea, Viet Nam, Desert Storm, War in Afghanistan, Operation Iraqi Freedom......

I am a Texan. Our mighty and proud state was forged from the raw wilderness and from the blood of Texas Patriots. Men like Stephen Austin, Lt. Col. William Barrett Travis, Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, Sam Houston, and many others who gave their lives for a vision of what Texas could and should be.  From the bloodstained grounds of the Alamo, to the San Jacinto battlefield, from the "Come and Take It" flag at Gonzales, to the proud patriots at Victoria....We Texans hold freedom and liberty close to our hearts.

How can I, being a Texan with my roots grounded soil stained by the blood of Texas Patriots, stand idly by and watch as power hungry, greedy, lying, Godless politicians drive America into the ground???  I cannot!  As Patrick Henry stated so famously," Give Me Liberty, Or Give Me Death!"

Lt. Col. Travis stated at the end of his final letter,"I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country — Victory or Death." I would bring shame upon the man who is my namesake if I did not speak out against this Tryannical Regime.

I am announcing my candidacy for Vice President of the United States.  I will be the running mate of CEO Jeron Rotert, who is running for President.  We will stand against this tide of greed, lies, godlessness, and corruption.  We will make sure that the voice of the American People does not go unheard.  It will resonate from our blogs and wherever we go.  Oklahomans and Texans will stand together, we will bring these two states into a force of Conservatism and God-fearing Principles.  Your votes and support are needed.  All financial support can be sent to our Campaign Headquarters in Tulsa, OK by care of Mr. Rotert.  We will not squander your donations....They will go towards building a powerhouse Campaign that will dominate in 2016.

In closing, we as Amer'kins must stand up as we did in the days of old for our Rights, Freedoms, adn Liberties.  What happened to those "certain unalienable rights" so eloquently expounded upon by John Locke???  Why stand we here idle?!?!?!?!???  Rise up America!!  Take up the Standard of Liberty and Justice!!!  We can overcome this onslaught of Socialism and Communism threatening our way of life.  Until the Flag of America stops waving, until Lady Liberty stops standing and lowers her torch, until the Liberty Bell no longer tolls for Liberty, until we have no breath in our bodies, until our money runs out.........Jeron and I shall not give up the fight.

Stand Strong Americans!!!!!!!!!

Well........Excuuuuuse Me!!!!!!!

I have just been informed by a NON-FOLLOWER "ACHEM" that I ignored her birthday.......So, even though she is not a Registered Follower, I GUESS I can make an allowance for that fact.  So, before she kills me and destroys my very being...I have a Birthday Shout-Out......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUU!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOO YOUUUUUUU!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS LAUREEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNN! HAAAPPY BIRTHDAAAAY TOOOOO YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ( that hurt my throat and fingers lol)

It is apparent that Miss Lauren Bundy has been the recipient of that great and wonderful gift of Birthdays.  Well, its the Anniversary of her Birthday....she wasnt born Monday.....that wouldve slightly nauseating and awkward.....she was just.....Never Mind.  I  know how old she is but its dangerous to tell a females age, so I will let Miss Lauren share that bit of info.  When she yelled thru her comment at me, she told me how old she was .......  But I will say she not 15 and she isnt 17 yet.
In the short time I have made her acquaintance, she has become a very cool friend.  She is DEFINITELY Trent Bundy's sister.  They are like a pair of March Hares.   She has always been extremely nice to me and very friendly.  She is quite hilarious to be around.  At least, in my experience she has been.  So, Happy Birthday to Miss Lauren Bundy and Congratulations on How-Ever-Many-Years!!!!!!

FYI, if you want a shout-out for B-Days leave Name, Age at Bday, Date of Bday, Bank Account Number, Social Security Number, and DOB.  Jus kidding about the last three ROFL   But I will need the first three tho......So send em in.  Leave a comment on this post.  Oh and also where you are from, if I know you.

What A Time!!!!

Whats crack-a-lakkin blogger Homies !!?!?!?  Just had some thoughts run thru my mind, so I tripped them and now I can put em up in CyberSpace for yall......Dont worry they aren't hurt :):):):)

So a quite a few weeks ago, I received an invitation to a Marriage Conference, sponsored by Tulsa Lighthouse Church, in Springdale, AR.  Basically, it was a "thats a good idea, now go talk to Pastor Howard about it" setup LOL Thanks, Eld. Baglin.  Well, Eld. Howard strongly approved...............So I went.  Not really any other way about it when two Elders tell you to do something.

Well, it was indeed a trip to remember.  Eld Steve Kelley from Kamiah, Idaho did the teaching for both morning and evening sessions.  It was tremendous! I had heard some parts of it from the ADMIT CDs, but still it had a way of being fresh and new.  He expounded about discerning spirits to see whether they be of God, refusing the lies that give Satan power over you, not allowing idols in your life, and so much more.....All in context of marriage.  I could not do justice to it all in this meager post.  No way.....I learned so much and feel like I am better equipped for my future.  He is an amazing teacher with an incredible insight into the things of the Spirit.  And a great anointed Man of God.  Thank you, sir......

An added benefit of the Conference was that I was able to see my beautiful girlfriend, Lady Brittany Copeland.  She is something else let me tell you......(take that how you wish). She is a wonderful young Lady.  Emphasis on the "Lady."  We had some great times and laughs for sure lol  Of course with Eld Baglin in form, laughter will ensue immediately. Trust me on that...We ate at the famous AQ Chicken House in Springdale.  It was phenomenal!

Also, I had the honor of formally meeting Eld. Steve Kelley.  Admittedly I was a little bit...uhhhh...nervous shall we say.  But, Eld Kelley is an extremely nice man.  Very down to earth and friendly.  I, obviously, knew who he was, and because I have a Father, Uncle, and a Grandfather in the Ministry, had seen him at various meetings.  Never actually introduced to each other though.  But, it was indeed an honor to make his acquaintance. Which leads me to another thought I've been thinking of....

I am so blessed to be an Apostolic.  More specifically, an Apostolic Preacher's Kid.  Now, I must say that it is a life that few could handle.  The pressures, scrutiny, preconceived notions of behavior, conduct, and attitude are ENORMOUS. You live in a glass house.  People hold you to a higher, if sometimes unfair, standard.  Is that right?? I dont know, but it is something that we must bear.  For better or worse....

But, the benefits FAR outweigh the negatives.  As a result of being a "PK," I have had opportunities that otherwise would've been only dreams. I have met Men of God that I would never have known had it not been for me being a PK.  I count it a humbling honor that Men of God I look up to know me.  I have in some way been influenced by them.  Men like Elds Joe Ben Terry, Jerry Hovater, Morris Terry, Mark Baughman who have passed on to their Great Reward.  Those still living and they are so numerous I would not be able to name them all..... My life has been surrounded by Men of God and the Ministry and that alone, I would not trade for all the pleasures of sin and the whole world combined.  That is WAY too cheap of a price to give it all up for......I know Men in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Ohio, Mississippi, Florida, Colorado, Oklahoma, Idaho, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Missouri, Kansas...and Im sure others but my memory fails me.... The total impact of all of these cannot ever be measured.

Because of knowing them, it segways into getting to know other people all across America.  For 22 years, my life has been church based.  Twenty-two years of making friends and tremendous memories.  I have great friends that had I not been a PK, I most likely wouldn't know them.  Because we have a smaller church, unfortunately, our Youth Group doesn't get out much to other venues for fellowship.  That easily could be me......Instead, because of my Dads ministry and the legacy of my Grandfather Eld. Donald R. Lee, I have been able to meet hundreds of people. I have a friend that is like a brother to me. Closer maybe...Jonathan.  Ive known him since he was a 6-7mnth old baby crawling around a blanket in the Parsonage when my grandparents Pastored in Atlanta.  Weve become very close....Our families may as well be one big family.  Bro an Sis Waldrep are almost as an Uncle and Aunt.  Kaylen is like my little sister, because I remember when she was born (yeah I'm that old).  But I wouldnt know these people if not for my PK status.  Here's something more depressing for me.........I more than likely woudlnt know Brittany.  I met her at ADMIT.  Which I was there with my dad and mom....Had I been a saint, it wouldnt have happened.  Whose to say if we would have the same wonderful relationship today????  I cannot understand how people can walk away from everything.......for nothing. Because when put side by side to all of this....It turns to nothing.  It cannot be traded, because these are Godly things.  All the hundreds of people I know and have known, I will not and cannot trade them for anything.  They deserve better.

So, a little different post, but Ive been really thinking about it all.  And I still say, I am blessed more than anybody else.

Thanks to Eld. Howard for inviting me and allowing me to attend the Conference, Thank You sir.  Thanks to The Copeland Family for allowing me to stay with them the weekend as well.  And thanks to my sweet and pretty girlfriend Miss Brittany Lyn for some laughs and memories.  You are the best ever ;)

Farewell, devout blogger followers and supporters.  Yall are some awesome peeps......Watch out for Zombies because this is National Zombie Awareness Month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lazarus Come Forth!!!!!!!!

Okay so Im not dead......just busy and stuff.  That is why its been waaaaaay too long since my last post.  But all that has just changed.  Because I have some scuttle-butt to share.  (that is an old Naval term for "gossip/news").   I dont know where to begin.......Oh wait! Yes I do!!!!!!

So a few weeks ago, guess who finally came to Texas!?!?!??  My very own, Miss Brittany Lyn!!!!!!!!  Talk about having spasms of joy......  Me, not her LOL She may have, but I didnt see it.  So due to extraordinary circumstances, we met Bro. Copeland and the Princess at Paris, TX. Greetings and such were passed around and I had a mild heart attack when I saw her, but its all good tho.  No lasting damage except for a glazed look in my eyes the rest of the weekend.

So from Paris, we then sojourned to the foreign land of Louisiana.  Shreveport to be more precise in details.  Miss Brittany had never been to Shreveport before, maybe never even to Louisiana I dont know, but enyhoo.....We ate at Panda Express of all places, which is good IMHO  and went to this place called Charmin Charlies.  It's this store that has all kinds of female fashion gizmos and such.  Color coordinated even.  Ho-hum.  Well, it just so happens that Shreveport has a Boardwalk.....with a Louisiana Bass Pro.

So off we went.  After exposing Miss City Girl to all of Louisiana's finest in wildlife/sporting, we strolled on down the Boardwalk.  It was a great evening for it as well.  Very comfortable weather, nice little breeze blowing, and of course the company was... how do you say....Delightful!!   Then it was the long journey back to Casa de Lee for some good times and then sleep.  Well, she slept there, I slept at the church on my Coleman Army Cot, at your local Wal-Mart.  Well, it was work work work for me until about 6pm, and then I met up with the folks and the wonderful Miss Brittany at TaMolly's Fine Mexican Food.  And believe me it is!!!  After, we went shopping at the mall, went to the Stateline Monument downtown Texarkana and got some pics taken, showed her around the city, and we then headed back to the A-Town. We then stayed up and ate some BLUE-BELL Ice Cream, which will be served at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb without a doubt, and had some great fellowship.  Had a lot of laughs and good times.  Well, of course all good things come to an end, and the Lady Fair had to leave on Saturday.  Yes, sad and distressing  I know, but it'll buff out because I can sojourn to the Oklahoma Land and see my Princess any time I so choose.  Thanks a million to Bro Copeland for making the drive and sacrifice to bring her down.  It is greatly appreciated, good sir.

What else??? Oh, yeah, I had a wreck. Well, an imbecile stopped in front of me and another  vehicle an likened to've caused a pile-up.  So enyhoo, Max is in the hospital and he may be totaled out.  I hope not, because I dont want to car-shop again.  So, I hope Max can pull thru.

AAANNNDD!!!!!  I have to give some Bday shout-outs here....keep the natives happy lol  So Ms Brooke Ford had a birthday, I believe it was Thursday? I sha'nt reveal her age because thats not proper to do so, but she is the same age as I.... hee-hee! Happy Bday to my almost cousin.  Miss Marissa Rodgers also had a bday on Friday which was also celebrated with great gusto.  Happy Bday to you as well....
I think you got some more wishes from Texas as well, tee-hee!! And last but certainly not least, is my cool sister in Oklahoma, Kristen Copeland.  She is a whopping EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD!!!!  Congrats to that magnificent milestone of longevity.  Hope it was a good'un for ya.

Alrighty then, that should suffice for now.  Nothing else has happened lately so, its toodles for now.  Thanks to Miss Brittany for coming down to see me and my family.  You are awesome and wonderful, also quite simply the best ever.  Looking forward to many more trips, both ways :):):):):)  Thanks to our Pastors and families for allowing these crazy kids to date and court each other.....

Thats all folks, keep calm and watch out for Ninjas...Ciao!!
